I love my job and thrive on seeing people making improvements whether that be to their body composition, strength, conditioning or mobility.

Above all the physiological changes I love seeing shifts in peoples attitudes that come with achieving their training goals; increased self-confidence, energy and a shift in their personal perception of what is possible.

Training wise, I focus heavily on improving movement patterns by getting rid of restrictions, improving stability and increasing strength. I am passionate about the health and body composition benefits of resistance training/moving weights. The message that I fight hard to instil in people is: Appropriate compound lifts such as the deadlift can and should be performed by everyone, regardless of age and gender....This means you!

As a personal trainer my aim is to teach new skills and help people to achieve their fitness goals.

Most clients initially hire a personal trainer due to a poor body image/health reasons but once started can realise the full benefits of working out, which has so much more to offer than just looking better in a swimsuit!

The body wants/needs to exercise, not only does it improve our fitness, strength, flexibility and overall health, but the natural endorphins that occur and of course having a better body image, can greatly improve one’s mental outlook on life.

The pre-conceived perception for some of personal training sessions, is of being pushed way beyond their comfort zone/capabilities, but for me, confidence and a sense of achievement in each session is key.

For that reason rather than go full beast mode, I start my sessions with a full and lengthy assessment of the individuals starting point and goals, and we build on that session by session.

Working hard, learning new skills and hopefully having loads of fun!

I specialise in helping younger people like myself who are dedicated and motivated to improve their mental & physical health. Bodybuilding is a big passion for many and I would love to spark that in more young people and guide them to finding their training style.

I have struggled with both lack of confidence and depression in the past - training and more specifically bodybuilding, has helped with this enormously.
I am dedicated to helping people who have limited gym experience or who have had similar struggles to myself, to enjoy the incredible benefits that proper training brings.

I endeavour to incorporate fun within everyone's training, whilst working towards each individual's goals.

I am a specialist coach of functional movements, CrossFit, gymnastics and weight lifting and have several years experience.    I incorporate these different coaching styles into my client's session's, and let me tell you why, each session with be varied and never dull. Each movement has a functionality purpose (real life use), the movements can be performed at a high intensity, making you sweat alot and can bring out your slightly competitive side to energise you to want more!

With my style of personal training, you definitely won't get bored.  No more tiresome running on the treadmill! We'll avoid the machines/movements you dislike and find the ones that you do.

Through my passion and experience, I hope to teach and encourage others to learn new fun styles of training and techniques.  Remeber, you don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great!

  • Level 3 IGKF Judge & Referee
  • 2nd Dan Blackbelt in Go Kan Ryu Karate

My training focus has mostly been sport specific with flexibility, strength and conditioning as accompanying regimes and continue to expand on these areas as I gain more experience in the fields. Training Styles:
I teach a professional style of boxing which I have learnt from World Champion Coach Adam Booth. I assist him in training his fighters, the current stable including; Josh Kelly (British Super-Welterweight Champion), Harlem Eubank and Michael Conlan.

You’ll learn the same techniques, tactics and tricks that we use with our boxers. Sessions can be all boxing or a mixture of boxing with strength and conditioning.

The confidence and discipline gained from boxing is second to none and will help you feel more capable when handling stressful situations.

Boxing is also a fantastic way to relax, it is an aggressive form of meditation but it works just as well as its calmer counterpart.

With me you’ll learn the art and science of boxing: hitting hard and being hard to hit!

I've always said that exercise should be enjoyable.  It should enrich your life, bring a sense of accomplishment and self pride for what you have achieved.  It should never feel like a punishment.  My ethos is about training that makes you happy, with goals that bring you joy!

I love strength training, a heavy barbell is my happy place.  I enjoy strong man training, powerlifting and Olympic lifting.  I compete regularly across the South of England, and have 11 /15 podium finishes.

If you are curious about strength training, especially strong man/woman or you are already a strength athlete and looking to progress, I would love to hear from you.  From the basics through to a progressive training programme, let me support you in your strength journey.
